Overview

The vertical water testing tunnel is designed for the Berkeley Flow Lab to conduct experiments involving gravity's effect. The system, once fully assembled, will be approximately 16 feet tall and occupy 144 square feet. I am working with Professor Simo Makiharju to create the system.

Phase 1: Design and Calculations

Currently, the tunnel is in the design and calculation phase. Here is the spreadsheet we created to calculate and optimize the flow tunnel's shape and size:

The project is currently pending for more funding, and will continue as soon as the fund is allocated.
